PRESIDENT'S REPORT

Dear Fellow PICPAns,
Warmest greetings and peace!
It is amazing that the first month after Christmas is already over! Almost seven months have passed since we held the PICPA Annual Planning Conference in July 2011 in Tarlac City. How true it is that TIME DOES FLY SO FAST when we are having fun while working, but crawls by so slowly when we are utterly bored. In PICPA, though, there is no time for boredom, because we simply get so immersed in projects and activities that every waking moment brings us great self-fulfillment.
It is truly noteworthy that PICPA’s GAOs and Regional Councils are now – on record – one hundred percent compliant in financial reporting for Fiscal Year ended June 30, 2011. What's more, the PICPA Chapters have begun to use the Internet facilities for the e-submission of their financial reports, enabling them to comply without much hassle. Moreover, the PICPA Committee Chairs are on track with the plans and projects they have committed to implement in the current fiscal year.
