PICPA Celebrates 2009 accountancy week
The Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants, in cooperation with the Association of CPAs in Commerce & Industry, Association of CPAs in Education, Association of CPAs in Public Practice , Government Association of CPAs, PICPA Metro Manila Region, PICPA Taxation Committee and PICPA Cooperative Committee, celebrates the Accountancy Week on July 19-25, 2009 .  Anchored on the theme "LIVE IT UP! The PICPA Spirit", the entrire week will be filled with professional development activities for the CPAs in the Commerce and Industry, Education, Government and Public Practice Sectors, as well as sports, social and fellowship activities.  The weeklong evet will be formally opened today at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Intercon.  It will be keynoted by BIR Commissioner Sixto S. Esquivas.  The celebration is led by PICPA's newly-elected president, Dr. Antonio P. Tecson and the Chair of this year's celebration, Mr. Gerard B. Sanvictores.
