ANNUAL PLANNING CONFERENCE

This Committee is tasked to ensure the successful holding of the Annual Planning Conference (APC) scheduled every July. The objective of the APC is to help prepare our PICPA leaders in assuming their role in the organization. The APC would involve the participation of the newly elected National Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Regional Sectoral Representatives and Chapter Presidents. The APC would cover an understanding of the PICPA structure , the Code of Ethics , new developments in accounting and auditing, a briefing on the respective role of our leaders in the PICPA organization , teambuilding , fellowship and workshop sessions for their plans and budget for the year. It is in this Conference that the Incoming President would launch his theme and plans for the year and where all the participants would seal their pledge of commitment and support to successfully implement the Institute plan. The APC will run approximately 2o hours in equivalent two full days and will be capped by a Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration.

FUNCTIONS

  1. Plan ahead for this event and coordinate with the committee on geographic, regions and chapters all the APC events.

  2. Inform all the participants of the APC event and the Programs

  3. Identify venue, dates and other requirements for the APC, in coordination with National Office secretariat.

  4. Update all the materials to be used in the APC

  5. Manage and implement the holding of the APC and document all the proceedings.

  6. Provide all participants of the planning output for their guidance in performing their role in the organization.

  7. Develop the Committee Plans and Budget for approval by the Liaison Director and for submission during the APC.
