INFORMATION TECHNOLGY AND SYSTEMS REVIEW
Under the Accountancy Law, PICPA is required to submit consolidated financial statements within the period specified in the Law, as part requirement for an accredited professional organization with the PRC. There is a need to modify the present system so that PICPA would be able to meets its reportorial requirements. Additionally, there are present initiatives that would require the maintenance of a reliable membership program that can respond to the requirements of CPE administration. The Committee is expected to review, redesign, implement and continuously enhance PICPAs computerized financial reporting and operational systems that would meet the expectations of our members as well as the reportorial requirements of our regulatory bodies.
FUNCTIONS
- Review, redesign, implement and enhance the Institute’s computerized financial and operational systems.
- Make recommendations as to additional requirements, if any, and training needed for the system to be functional.
- Continuously upgrade the computerized system for PICPAs operations and financial reporting.
- Help PICPA maintain a reliable database for the Institute and members information needs.
- 5. Develop the Committees Plans and Budget for approval by the Liaison Director and for submission during the Annual Planning Conference.
