REVIEW OF POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Our new By Laws in 2005, which is based on the provisions of the Accountancy Law of 2004, require a number of changes in most of our existing operating policies and procedures. These changes are still in embodied in the recorded resolutions of the National Board meetings and some have no equivalent policies and procedures as yet. . This Committee is tasked to review the consistency of our policy manuals for our Geographic Area , Regions and Chapters with our By Laws and the Accountancy Law and its Implementing Rules and Regulations and to identify such inconsistencies and the required remedial actions. It is also important that these manuals are well understood and implemented by our Geographic areas , regions and chapters. The Committee is tasked to undertake all the necessary steps to promote an understanding of our policies and procedures.
FUNCTIONS
- Develop the necessary course materials to cover an understanding of our policies and procedures ..
- Review our policies and procedures as to its consistency with our By laws and the Accountancy Law and develop a program of implementation to remedy the inconsistencies.
- Schedule a series of chapter visits or regional visits to promote an understanding of the different chapter manuals ..
- Develop the Committee’s Plans and Budget for approval by the Liaison Director and for submission to during the Annual Planning Conference.
